What a week, guys! Can’t believe how time flies! This look we shot in Rotterdam last week and I wanted to share it with ya’ll so badly but I just didn’t make it! I absolutely looove this outfit combination, even though I’ve never had the intention to wear a dress over a boyfriend jeans! I just notice that thru blogging, I’ve tried out so many different styles that I probably wouldn’t have done without United Wear. Remember this style here? – would never have been an option to me. You may now think ‚whats the problem with that look, I could wear that every day‘ but for me it was something completely new. I had this kind of straight view of fashion and my style which did not allow any ‚playfulness‘ or experiments.
I loved to wear high heels (and I still do) and that was attracting attention more than enough. (At this point I have to say that I lived in a very small town with no sense for fashion and a 17 years old girl wearing high heels to high school was definetely something „interesting“).
Even when I started going to university, my style has always been a topic. Once, I was wearing a blouse with a terracotta-colored knee-high a-line skirt, overknee socks and very cute pumps (which is an absolute trend right now but obviously not 4 years ago) and one of my professors came up to me and asked me if I’m working as a whore – in front of all the other students! Oh. my. god! Can you believe that?! I mean, come on, no whore wears Jimmy Choo’s!
Well, now I can laugh about it when looking back but it actually was a horrible moment. I never wore that outfit again.
Any way, I love how blogging has changed not only my style but also my thinking and it has increased my self-confidence so much, YOU guys increased my self-confidence and I’d like to thank all of you! Thank you so much for that and for following my journey wherever that may take me and you!
I hope you enjoy today’s outfit inspiration, leave a comment below, I’d love to read your thoughts!
Lots of Love,
