Hey guys! I know it’s been a while since my last post but gosh, I have been super busy lately. I have been travelling for different jobs and it seemed like there’s no end in sight! Right now, I’m still on a business trip but I’ll be going home tomorrow! After two months of travelling and working it’s about time..
So last weekend, we have been in Paris to celebrate my boyfriends birthday! It was really great and about time that we spent some time together.. It also was the first time, that we took our puppy with us on a trip abroad – and he was such a good boy! I’m always afraid that it might be too much for this little cutie but he always proves me wrong.
Of course we had to visit the typical sights, like the Eiffel Tower. I mean, you have to, right?! It was very crowded so we didn’t stay too long, we were there for only two days so there was no time to waste! Saturday night we went to the Sacré Coeur and there was an open air concert going on which was amazing – people were dancing, and laughing, and enjoying this breathtaking view over Paris! It was magical!
And then it had to happen on sunday – Paris without cars! Seriously guys, it was horrible. Since I was having an early flight to Stuttgart on monday morning, I didn’t want to arrive at home too late. So we decided to take the car and see some places in Paris I have found on the internet. What we did not know was that they would cordon off an area in Paris where it’s not allowed to drive by car, and that the places I wanted to go to would be in that area! After driving around for two hours and not being able to pass any barriers, we finally gave up, so I guess we’ll have to go there another time! Not that I’m upset about that… ;-D
Despite everything, it’s been a great trip and we truly enjoyed the time together!
PS: If you’re planning on going to Paris, I can highly recommend Rue Mouffetard! One restaurant after another, parisian flair and a great atmosphere. We went there saturday night for dinner and it was amazing!
Lots of Love,
