“Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only. Fashion is in the sky, in the street, fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, what is happening.”
Fashion has always been my passion. Since I’ve been a little girl, I loved to dress up and wear my mom’s dresses, heels, jewelry and everything else I found in her closet. I was a dreamer. And I still am.
Like Coco Chanel said, Fashion is not only about clothes. It gives you the opportunity to show the world who you are. It allows you to express yourself without having to say a word. It can tell about how you feel and allows to escape into another world. A world far away from boredom and everyday life. It opens up a world with more self-confidence and the chance to be whoever you want to be – and my blog provides refuge for that.
At the age of 16, I first started modeling. I won a modeling contest and the result were huge billboards in malls and publications in magazines. This is pretty much how everything got started. I also participated in beauty pageants, won a few titles and had all kind of job offers almost all over the world. It has been a very exciting and fascinating time, but also very tough and stressful. Less than 4 hours of sleep and 18 hours of work were no rarity. I have learned alot, got the chance to make great experiences and see different countries and I’ve met great people.
Nevertheless, working as a model full-time has never been an option for me. I’ve always wanted to broaden my horizons and set new goals for me. So I decided to study Eventmanagement & Entertainment. Since I already have been in that industry, I wanted to stay there.
During the past few years I came across many blogs. I love looking at all those beautiful and inspirational pictures and reading about the thoughts of the person behind the blog. And then I just thought ‚Why not starting your own one?‘ ‚Why not inspire others by yourself?‘ And that was the beginning of United Wear..
I am truly grateful for my readers and that you took the time to read my posts. Thank you, I hope I can give you some inspiration.
Lots of Love,
